Made from 3-ply rope, the polyester rope bed is fade and mildew resistant for long outdoor life. One thousand feet of rope is used n the construction of the hammock for superior strength. The durable woven bed has a double-latch construction and 14 loops in the body, adding more rope for greater comfort and strength. Hand-tied bowline knot tightens with use. Hammock clew is macraméd for artistic design while rope hammock ends tassel for rustic effect. Spreader bars, constructed of solid oak for premium durability and strength, are triple dipped in marine spar varnish to lengthen life. Steam bent spreader bar is designed to enhance gentle swaying motion. The Original Pawleys Island Hammock Tag is affixed to center of hammock spreader for authenticity. Hammock comes complete with superior constructed hardware. Heavy-duty zinc chromate hardware resists rust. 3/16 proof coil affixes to two inch diameter ring for hanging versatility.
